Simonsound was responsible for the vocal editing and mixing on DJ Format's 2002 album Music for the Mature B-Boy and its 2005 follow-up If You Can’t Join ‘Em, Beat ‘Em. With tracks featuring MCs Abdominal and Chali 2na and Akil from Jurassic 5, both albums were hits on the hip hop scene and enjoyed crossover success. simonsound also mastered DJ Format's mix cd European Vacation.

simonsound are currently co-writing tracks with DJ Format.
