Location specific composition celebrating the ghostly shadow of an iconic structure

Musicity is a location specific music project developed by BBC Radio 3's Nick Luscombe, featuring tracks inspired by buildings and structures around the World. In the Shadow of the Skylon is inspired by the futuristic structure erected on the South Bank in London for the Festival of Britain in 1951.

The track itself is accessible on the site where the Skylon used to stand, using the free Musicity App, and on the B-side of the Simonsound 10" vinyl single The Beam.
