DJ Food took my original video for Tour de Mars and has added some extra clips and given it an overhaul. The Single is out on 7″ vinyl/digital on Monday (Nov 2nd) and you can get it at lots of different retailers. Go here to find a list.

Very excited about this release and so far feedback has been really good. I won’t say any more as I prefer to let the music speak for itself. Here is a very simple video I made so I could put the track up on youtube. It is out on vinyl and digital download from the 2nd of November. More info here.

This week I start production of an audio tour for 2009’s White Night in Brighton & Hove. More info will follow soon.

Note - I’ll also be performing live at White Night with Ian Helliwell using his multiplayer Helisizer. Venue to be confirmed.

For some random iPhone recorded audio snippets go to audioboo. It’s a bit like Twitter but with audio and thus all the better for it! I often record bits and pieces when I’m out and about or working in the studio. Listen.

Things are very busy right now - lots of interesting little projects going on. I’m working on a package of branding for an online radio station, creating a guided musical tour for White Night in Brighton & Hove, preparing to release the latest Simonsound single, getting ready for some upcoming lectures at Ravensbourne college and playing with my latest electronic sound module, ‘The Wogglebug’. Enjoy.

Just completed this package of branding and music for Heineken.

The Tone Generation has evolved beyond its initial 10 part run for Resonance FM, and as we prepare to make episode 16 available there are plans for many more episodes and even a Tone Generation live show. I’ll keep you posted on the live show but for now get the latest episode here.

Every year Heineken run a huge DJ competition across the Caribbean islands. I have been involved in the Green Synergy DJ competitions for a number of years and one year I was even lucky enough to run music production workshops with the finalists and ‘A Tribe Called Quest’s’ Phife Dawg.

This year I was commissioned to create the branding and music beds that would be used across radio, tv and online to promote the event.  I spent time immersing myself in the latest music of the Caribbean and had a lot of fun exploring the quite different approach to production and mixing. The package is due to go live very soon and I’ll post some clips as soon as I can.

I just found out Australian radio station ABC have commissioned a fourth episode of the radio drama Flickerman. I produced the third episode earlier this year and I am excited to be invited back to produce the latest installment of Cornelius’ adventures. I’ll keep you updated on the schedule for this. I’m equally excited and hopeful that some of the mysteries from earlier episodes might be revealed.

In yesterdays Guardian radio review page Zoe WIlliams called the interactive flickr radio drama “new and amazing” and went on to describe it as “.. a strange and exhilarating project”. I think most of this comes down to great writing, direction and acting but I’m proud to have played my part in producing and sound designing episode 3.
