Sleeping Steam Machines
A lullaby for the huge steam machines at Hove's Victorian Engineerium. This piece is made from various recordings around the pumping station including the huge spanners found in a tunnel near one of the workshops - in fact the spanners are played like a glockenspiel to create the melody.

Rings of Saturn

Santa Pod Jet Car
Travelling at 336mph and covering a quarter of a mile in 6 seconds, the Santa Pod Jet car is fast and LOUD. Here is a binaural recording from trackside. You'll hear the warm up during which the pilot 'pops' the engine resulting in ear shattering booms, and then the thunderous roar as the car travels down the track.
